New Technologies Introduced to Central New York by Dr. Branson

Computer Imaging: Introduced in 1987, computer imaging proves that a picture is worth a thousand words. Imaging enhances the communication process between Dr Branson and his patients. Both learn to better define their expectations and limits of any treatment considered. With the analysis capacity of Dr. Branson’s imaging system, he continues to evolve new approaches to plastic surgery, especially in the treatment of aging.

Endoscopic Plastic Surgery: Considered to be "minimally invasive surgery," endoscopic surgery allows extensive surgery to be performed through small incisions. Endoscopic plastic surgery can include facial surgery (brow lifting, midface lifting, & neck lifting), breast surgery (breast enhancement and lifting), and abdominal surgery (tummy tuck). In addition to a surgical video camera, specially designed instruments are required. Dr. Branson has designed his own instruments for endoscopic plastic surgery, including instruments that combine endoscopy, laser, and electrocautery.

"Flash" Resurfacing: This emerging technology represents the next generation for skin rejuvenation.  While it does not achieve the same degree of improvement seen with the CO2 laser, flash resurfacing has virtually no "down time."

Micro & Pulsed Ultrasonic Liposuction: The next evolution in liposuction, this allows greater finesse when treating any area of your body.  In my experience, its greatest benefit occurs when treating "delicate" areas, such as the head & neck.
